Screw conveyors

Horizontal conveyors can carry different raw materials like feathers, meat, fish and other animal by-products from one place to another in the factory. Screw conveyors for animal by-products processing can be divided into three separate groups: process conveyors, raw material conveyors, and press-cake handling machines. In general, all screw conveyors look similar, but they differ due to the properties of the processed material. Material can be wet, fatty, dry, cold, or hot. Lamella pump

Equally important in the meat and fish rendering processing plant is the lamella pump. This pump is intended to pump raw material with high viscosity, such as meat and fish offal, crushed bones, from pigs and cattle. Lamella pump construction allows transporting raw material with large particles, like pre-broken animal by-products, with a small liquid flow. Rendering lamella pump work perfectly as a closed transport system for loading cookers and other processing equipment, reducing unpleasant odour.
